Royal Enterprizes

is a family owned business founded in 1982. When first created, it was decided to spell the company name with a Z because we knew every product would be prize. Keith Royal, president and owner has learned this craft starting as an apprentice with European master cabinet makers in the Chicago area. Later he was also a highly successful salesman for the country's largest, family owned distributor of hardware and products for the wood-working industry. Always wanting to get back to his passion of building beautiful products from wood, Keith acted on an opportunity to move with his wife Kathy from Park Ridge, Illinois to Southwestern Michigan where they had purchased land on the St. Joseph River with the vision of eventually working and living in this wonderful area. Keith will tell you that what makes his business special is his ability to see new designs and solutions that make your home more beautiful and your life more enjoyable. Past jobs range from a multi-million dollar walnut paneled library for the largest single family home on Lake Geneva, Wisconsin to small, fun things like a recipe box with special features or a jig saw puzzle with his granddaughter's picture on it. Other achievements include making a custom built sewing cabinet for a quilter with space restrictions, rebuilding a family heirloom dining table and creating new leaves to use in it, rebuilding a kitchen pantry to make it more attractive and useful, and building a double-arched door with rain drop glass for a large Spanish style home in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The most recent creation is the Adirondack style chair which has a full page on this web site. You will see that once again Royal Enterprizes has proved: We make great designs in wood, work.
